Abstract:
A plug cover unit (5) comprises a plug cover (53) that can move vertically in order to open and close a drain outlet (102). The plug cover unit (5) has an outward water flow generating member (54) that is directly or indirectly mounted to the plug cover (53) under the plug cover (53) and that is disposed inside a pipe (2) at least when the drain outlet (102) is an opened state. An outward water flow that flows toward the inner circumferential face of the pipe (2) is generated by varying the direction of wastewater flow with the outward water flow generating member (54). Thus, the wastewater can flow so that same presses against the inner circumferential face of the pipe (2). As a result, good sanitation and aesthetics can be maintained over a longer period of time and usability can be improved.
