Abstract:
A plug door device is of small size and is configured such that a door drive device for applying force to a door in the front-rear direction of a vehicle can perform both opening and closing operation and plugging operation of the door.
A plug door device (1) has a fixed base (2) fixed to a body of a vehicle, a slide base (3) provided to the fixed base (2) so as to be movable in the width direction of the vehicle, a door drive device (4) provided to the slide base (3), shaft sections (5a, 5b) each provided to a connecting section between the door drive device (4) and each door (104a, 104b), and guide sections (6a, 6b) pivotably provided to the fixed base (2) and guiding the shaft sections (5a, 5b). When the doors are opened and closed, the guide sections (6a, 6b) guide the shaft sections (5a, 5b) such that the guide sections (6a, 6b) make contact with the shaft sections (5a, 5b) and move in the width direction of the vehicle.
