A plug (20), which is used to plug a heat-conducing pipe and thus block off the heat-conducting pipe, is equipped with: a plug main body (21), which is formed so as to be capable of being inserted into the heat-conducting pipe, and is formed with a closed cylindrical end and an open cylindrical end; a columnar member (22), which is capable of being inserted into and removed from the plug main body (21) from the cylindrical open end of the plug main body (21), and has at its outer perimeter a tapered surface (22a) the outer diameter of which decreases gradually in the direction of the open end of the plug main body (21) when the columnar member is inserted into the plug main body (21); and a wedge member (23), which is formed so as to be capable of being inserted into and removed from the plug main body (21) from the cylindrical open end of the plug main body (21), and has at its inner perimeter a tapered surface (23a), the inner diameter of which gradually decreases in the direction of the open end of the plug main body (21) and which opposes the tapered surface (22a) of the columnar body (22) when the wedge member is inserted into the plug main body (21).
