Abstract:
The present invention is an optical connector that is provided with a plug (1) and a jack(2) for the optical connector. A lens (11) (plug-side optically coupling section) for optically coupling light to a jack (2) is disposed on the side surface of the plug (1), said light having been transmitted inside of an optical fiber (12) held by the plug (1). A lens (21) (jack-side optically coupling section) for optically coupling light to the plug (1) is disposed on the inner surface side of the jack (2), said light having been transmitted inside of the optical fiber (22) held by the jack (2).
