Abstract:
The pluggable optical module comprises: a substrate capable of being removably inserted into a connector of a host board; a plurality of first electrodes arranged on a first surface of the substrate along a first direction intersecting the direction of insertion of the pluggable optical module; and a plurality of second electrodes arranged on the first surface of the substrate along the first direction so as to be on the host board side of the plurality of first electrodes. The plurality of first electrodes and the plurality of second electrodes are arranged in accordance with a layout rule wherein at least one of a plurality of terminals of the connector, which are configured so as contact the plurality of first electrodes, is to tolerate electric shock generated upon contact with any one of the plurality of second electrodes.
