Abstract:
A pneumatic friction-type fan clutch, comprising a driving disc, a driven disc, a friction ring, a telescopic closed air cavity mechanism, an elastic force mechanism and a permanent magnet transmission mechanism. The friction ring is arranged between the driven disc and the driving disc. The telescopic closed air cavity mechanism comprises an air cylinder, a piston and a ventilation shaft. The air cylinder is arranged at an outer end of the driven disc. The elastic force mechanism is arranged on an axial outer circular surface of the ventilation shaft. The permanent magnet transmission mechanism comprises a fixing plate, an aluminium disc, a permanent magnet and a magnetic conduction ring. The fixing plate and the aluminium disc are installed on the driving disc, the magnetic conduction ring is installed on the driven disc, and the permanent magnet is installed on the aluminium disc. When compressed air is turned on, pressure is produced between the air cylinder and the piston to force the driving disc and the driven disc to be separated, and the driving disc drives the driven disc to rotate at a low speed via the permanent magnet transmission mechanism. When the air supply is stopped, an elastic force produced between the driving disc and the driven disc via a compression spring enables the driving disc, the driven disc and the friction ring to produce a frictional force, and the driven disc is thereby driven to rotate at a speed consistent with that of the driving disc.
