A pneumatic height-adjustable desk support (001) and a height-adjustable desk, relating to the field of height adjustment mechanisms. The height-adjustable desk support (001) comprises a cross beam (1) and an upright column (2), and further comprises a pressure sensor that detects the load of the height-adjustable desk support (001), a controller (3) that receives a signal from the pressure sensor, and an adjustable gas spring assembly (4) that drives the upright column (2) to lift and lower; the adjustable gas spring assembly (4) comprises an adjustable gas spring body (401), an air storage tank (402), a piston rod assembly (403), and a driving member (404); the adjustable gas spring body (401) and the gas storage tank (402) are connected by means of a gas tube (405); the controller (3) controls the driving member (404); the adjustable gas spring body (401) is disposed in the upright column (2); the driving member (404) drives the piston rod assembly (403) to make a piston movement in the gas storage tank (402). The height-adjustable desk support (001) has high safety, easy height adjustment, good comfort, a low damage rate, a long service life, high stability, and strong practicability.
