Abstract:
Disclosed is a pneumatic muscle, belonging to the technical field of bionic actuators, comprising a balloon (1), wherein a braided mesh tube (2) is provided on an outer side of the balloon (1); the balloon (1) is connected to one end of the braided mesh tube (2) by means of a first connector assembly, and the balloon (1) is connected to the other end of the braided mesh tube (2) by means of a second connector assembly; the balloon (1) is internally provided with an air guide tube (3); and the first connector assembly comprises an inflation channel, through which the air guide tube (3) passes. When compared with existing pneumatic muscles, the pneumatic muscle is a balloon-type artificial pneumatic muscle in which a balloon structure is inflated and performs expansion and deformation, and the expanded balloon (1) is internally provided with a space that does not need to be inflated, thereby saving the compressed air, reducing the amount of pressure that the balloon needs to bear, shortening the response time, and improving the working efficiency thereof.
