Abstract:
A pneumatic radial tyre superior in run-flat durability, comprising sequentially a belt layer (4) containing a plurality of layers of metal cords and a tread (5) on the circumference of a crown portion (3) of a toroidal radial carcass (2), and also a rubber reinforcement layer (7) having a crescent cross section and adapted to partially bear the load, on the inner circumferential surface of a side portion of the carcass, wherein organic fiber cords are disposed between the carcass and the belt layer, and wherein the organic fiber cord has an auxiliary layer (8) arranged in a direction in which it intersects the carcass and the belt layer with a central equator surface being interposed therebetween.
