Abstract:

A pneumatic safety tire characterized in that a pair of right and left bead cores, a carcass layer, a plurality of belt layers, a tread portion, and a pair of side walls arranged on the right and left sides of the tread portion are provided. In the pneumatic safety tire, at least a piece of rubber-filament fiber composite material comprising a filament fiber and a rubber component are arranged near the carcass layer in the side wall portions. When being filled with the internal pressure, the safety tire maintains performance of a high level during the ordinary running, is light in weight, and offers a greatly improved run-flat running performance.
