Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a pneumatic tire for an automatic two-wheeled vehicle, the pneumatic tire enabling significantly improved handling stability performance and wear resistance performance during turning traveling while ensuring excellent turning performance based on making the width of an auxiliary belt layer wider than that of a belt layer. A pneumatic tire (1) for an automatic two-wheeled vehicle is configured by dividing an auxiliary belt layer (8) into a middle area (Am) which covers the disposition area of a belt layer (7) on the inner peripheral side from the auxiliary belt layer (8), and a side area (As) outside the disposition area of the belt layer (7), extending cords of the auxiliary belt layer (8) at a given angle (θm) within the range of 70°-90° with respect to a tire circumferential direction in the middle area (Am) of the auxiliary belt layer (8), and extending the cords of the auxiliary belt layer (8) at a different angle (θs) from that of the cords present in the middle area (Am) with respect to the tire circumferential direction in at least part of the side area (As) of the auxiliary belt layer (8).
