Abstract:
Disclosed is a pneumatic tire improved in adhesion of a sound-absorbing member which is composed of a porous material. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing such a pneumatic tire. Specifically disclosed is a pneumatic tire wherein a resin layer, which is composed of a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained by dispersing an elastomer in a thermoplastic resin, is formed in at least a part of the inner surface of the tire, a sound-absorbing member composed of a porous material is arranged on the resin layer, and a locking member composed of a thermoplastic resin is fusion bonded to the resin layer through the sound-absorbing member.
