Abstract:
Provided are a pneumatic tire and a method for manufacturing the pneumatic tire such that a hook-and-loop fastener can be mounted on a tire inner surface during a tire formation process and such that the hook-and-loop fastener can be effectively prevented from coming off during the tire formation process. A belt-like hook-and-loop fastener extending in a tire circumferential direction is mounted on the tire inner surface; cut parts, each comprising a group of multiple cuts extending along the width direction of the hook-and-loop fastener but not across the hoop-and-loop fastener, are formed repeatedly on the hook-and loop fastener along the tire circumferential direction, said cuts dividing the hook-and-loop fastener into multiple components; and the hook-and-loop fastener is disposed on the tire inner surface with the cut parts being stretched such that the components become continuous in the tire circumferential direction.
