Abstract:
Provided are a pneumatic tire in which air dispersion during vulcanization is improved and which makes it possible to effectively prevent blister failure, and a method for manufacturing the same. The pneumatic tire of the present invention is provided with a carcass layer (4) and a belt layer (7) as tire constituent members extending in a tire circumferential direction, wherein at least one thread (10) is disposed in step portions formed at the ends in a width direction of the carcass layer (4) and the belt layer (7), the thread having a rupture strength of not more than 100 N and extending in the tire circumferential direction.
