Abstract:
This pneumatic tire for motorcycles is equipped with recessed portions formed intermittently along the tire circumferential direction in an intermediate region of each half of the tire, the intermediate region having a negative ratio of 15 to 45%, where the intermediate region is a region of the tread in the tire width direction, which is sandwiched by the point of the tread in the tire width direction spaced from the tire equatorial plane to the tread end by 50% of one half the peripheral width of the tread along the periphery of the tread in a reference state, and the point of the tread in the tire width direction similarly spaced by 82%.
