Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire for motorcycles which is capable of exhibiting new tire performance early, and with which it can be visually confirmed that the new tire is worn to a degree at which the new tire is capable of exhibiting sufficient performance. This pneumatic tire for motorcycles is provided with a tread section 1 which is annularly formed. The tread section 1 has, provided therein, width-direction shallow grooves 11b which have a width of 0.1-2.0 mm and a depth of 0.1-2.0 mm, and which extend in at least the tire width direction. The length of each of the shallow grooves is at least 50% of the width of the tire ground-contact surface. The shallow grooves are arranged at intervals shorter than the length of the tire ground-contact surface.
