Abstract:
Pneumatic tire (T) having pressure-sensitive sealant layer (5) whose rubber component is one thermally decomposed by peroxides disposed on an inside wall surface of tire at at least a region corresponding to tread portion (1), the pressure-sensitive sealant layer (5) covered with cover rubber layer (6); and a relevant process for producing the same. In the pneumatic tire (T) and relevant process for producing the same, at least one degassing hole [7a(7b)] is formed in the cover rubber layer (6) after vulcanization, so that any decomposition gases emitted from the pressure-sensitive sealant layer (5) are discharged through the degassing hole [7a(7b)] outside the tire.
