Abstract:

A pneumatic tire for a two-wheeled motor vehicle, the pneumatic tire assuring the occurrence of a sufficiently large lateral force in intermediate regions which make contact with the ground when a moderate camber angle is applied to the tire, and the pneumatic tire having increased driving force and braking force. A pneumatic tire for a two-wheeled motor vehicle, provided with a tread section (1), side wall sections (2), and bead sections (3). The tread section (1) is composed of five regions which are a center region (A), shoulder regions (C), and intermediate regions (B). The loss tangent of intermediate tread rubber (7b) at at least portions thereof which form the ground contact surfaces, said intermediate tread rubber (7b) being provided to the entire intermediate regions (B), is greater than the loss tangent of center tread rubber (7a) at at least a portion thereof which forms the ground contact surface, said center tread rubber (7a) being provided to the entire center region (A), and than the loss tangent of shoulder tread rubber (7c) at at least portions thereof which form the ground contact surfaces, said shoulder tread rubber (7c) being provided to the entire shoulder regions (C).
