Abstract:
A pneumatic tire enabling a reduction in the search time of a transponder and, in a passive transponder functioning with an energy transmitted from the outside, enabling an increase in the transmission efficiency of the energy. The pneumatic tire having the transponder is formed by installing an identification sign indicating the position of the transponder on the outer surface of the tire at a position where the transponder is disposed. In the pneumatic tire having the transponder at the side wall part, an identification sign indicating the position of the transponder is installed on the outer surface of the tire at a position where the transponder is disposed and an identification sign indicating at least the position of the transponder in the circumferential direction of the tire is installed on the outer surface of the tire at the side wall part on the opposite side of the side wall part where the transponder is disposed.
