Abstract:
A pneumatic tire that realizes enhancements of abrasion resistance and braking
performance while maintaining its anti-overturn capacity. Tread face (11)
is composed of central arc (31), shoulder-side arc (32) and shoulder-area arc
(33). The tread face (11) is formed so that when the contour region being the width
from equatorial plane (5) to an end of the central arc (31) is referred to as L1,
the expanded width of the tread referred to as TDW, the radius of curvature of the
central arc (31) referred to as TR1, the radius of curvature of the shoulder-side
arc (32) referred to as TR2, the outer diameter of the tire referred to as OD, the
extended width referred to as SW, and the oblateness referred to as β, the
value of F1 calculated by the formula F1=L1/(TDW×0.5) satisfies the relationship
0.64≤F1≤0.7, the value of F2 calculated by the formula F2=TR1/OD
satisfies the relationship 1.2≤F2≤2.0, the value of F3 calculated
by the formula F3=TR2/TR1 satisfies the relationship 0.1≤F3≤0.2
and the value of F4 calculated by the formula F4=(β×TDW)/(100×SW)
satisfies the relationship 0.35≤F4≤0.48.
