Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a pneumatic tire (1) having grooves (12, 16) disposed on a tread part (10), wherein a ratio (SW/OD) between the total width (SW) and the outer diameter (OD) of the pneumatic tire satisfies SW/OD ≤ 0.3. In a contact patch region (G) of the tread part, if a groove area ratio with respect to a contact patch area is denoted as GR, a contact patch width is denoted as W, a region having a width of 50% of the contact patch width (W), with a tire equatorial plane (CL) as the center, is denoted as a center region (AC), the groove area ratio of the center region is denoted as GCR, the contact patch region more to the outside in the tire width direction than the center region is denoted as a shoulder region (AS), and the groove area ratio of the shoulder region is denoted as GSR, the contact patch region of the tread part is formed so as to satisfy 10 [%] ≤ GR ≤ 25 [%], and GCR > GSR.
