Abstract:
This pneumatic tire is characterized in that a tread has one wide main groove, a groove center line of the wide main groove is positioned in the inside half when the tire is mounted to a vehicle; and with an intersection point between a second curved portion and the tread denoted as P2, an intersection point between a first curved portion and the second curved portion denoted as Q2, an intersection point between a third curved portion and the tread denoted as P3, and an intersection point between the first curved portion and the third curved portion denoted as Q3, the angle (α2) formed by a straight line (L2) connecting the point (P2) and the point (Q2) and a tangent line (M2) of an imaginary contour (TL) of the tread at the point (P2) is 45° or less, an angle (α3) formed by a straight line (L3) connecting the point (P3) and the point (Q3) and a tangent line (M3) of the imaginary contour (TL) of the tread at the point (P3) is 45° or less, and a distance (W2) along the tire width is greater than the maximum groove depth (D) of the wide main groove.
