Abstract:
The problem of the present invention is to provide a pneumatic tire in which rigidity is lessened by reducing the spring coefficient of the tire, and particularly to provide a pneumatic tire in which the spring coefficient of the tire can be reduced to adjust rigidity lower even after the tire has been molded by vulcanization. The solution is a pneumatic tire that uses for an inner liner a film comprising a thermoplastic resin or a thermoplastic resin composition containing a blend of a thermoplastic resin and an elastomer, wherein the inner liner positioned in an area between left and right bead filler tops is formed so that the thickness of the inner liner in a portion less than 40% of the total surface area of the inner liner in said area is less than that of the rest of the inner liner in said area.
