Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire whereby: shear strain that occurs in an adhesion surface of a belt-shaped sound-absorbing material (6) can be alleviated, when adhering the sound-absorbing material (6) to an area corresponding to a tread section in a tire inner surface; and peeling of the sound-absorbing material (6) can be suppressed. This pneumatic tire comprises the tread section, a side wall section, and a bead section. The belt-shaped sound-absorbing material (6) is adhered, via an adhesive layer, along the tire circumferential direction in the area corresponding to the tread section of the tire inner surface. An adhesive area (6A) adhered to the tire inner surface and a non-adhesive area (6B) not adhered to the tire inner surface are provided in the adhesive surface of the sound-absorbing material (6). The adhesive area (6A) is divided into a plurality of segments in the tire circumferential direction by the non-adhesive area (6B).
