Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire which, when adhering a belt-shaped sound-absorbing material to a region corresponding to a tread section on the inner surface of the tire, decreases the distortion of the tire inner surface caused by centrifugal force when traveling at high speeds, and makes it possible to suppress detachment of the sound-absorbing material. A pneumatic tire according to the present invention and provided with a tread section, a sidewall section and bead sections, having a carcass layer positioned between a pair of the bead sections, having a plurality of belt layers arranged on the tread section on the carcass-layer-outer-circumferential side thereof, and having a belt-shaped sound-absorbing material adhered along the tire-circumferential direction to a region corresponding to the tread section on the tire inner surface via an adhesive layer, wherein: a belt-cover layer containing an organic-fiber cord oriented in the tire-circumferential direction is positioned on the outer-circumferential side of the belt layer along the entire width of the belt layer; and the amount of change in the dynamic rolling radius when at a speed of 270 km/h compared to the dynamic rolling radius when at a speed of 30 km/h is limited to 2.0% or less.
