Abstract:

Provided is a pneumatic tire which has an improved good balance among handle responsiveness, low fuel consumption, durability and extrusion processability and has a tire inner layer. A pneumatic tire in which a tire inner layer comprises a rubber composition, said pneumatic tire being characterized in that the rubber composition contains a rubber component, carbon black and an alkylphenol-sulfur chloride condensation product, wherein the carbon black has a BET specific surface area of 20 to 120 m2/g, the contents of the carbon black and the alkylphenol-sulfur chloride condensation product are 40 to 100 parts by mass and 2.5 to 10 parts by mass, respectively, relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, a weakly reinforcing inorganic filler is contained in an amount of 40 parts by mass or less relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component, and a reactive phenolic resin is contained in an amount of less than 2.0 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.
