Abstract:

A pneumatic tire is provided with a tread pattern having: a first circumferential-direction groove; a land part that is located outside the first circumferential-direction groove in a width direction of the tire, continuously extends over the entire circumference of the tire, and continuously extends outwardly in the width direction of the tire from the first circumferential-direction groove to an end of a contact area of the tire; a first slanting groove that extends, while slanting outwardly in the width direction of the tire, in a first direction along the circumferential direction of the tire from a position spaced from the first circumferential-direction groove outwardly in the width direction of the tire; a first lug groove extending from the outer end of the first slanting groove in the width direction of the tire to the end of the contact area; and a second slanting groove that extends from the land part spaced in the circumferential direction of the tire from the first slanting groove and the first lug groove to a connection between the first slanting groove and the first lug groove and is smaller in length than the first slanting groove in the circumferential direction of the tire.
