Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire in which sufficient sealability can be obtained throughout the entirety of a sealant layer. This invention relates to a pneumatic tire that has a sealant layer inward from an inner liner in the radial direction of the tire, wherein the sealant layer is formed by continually coating, in a spiral shape, the inner peripheral surface of the tire with a substantially string-like sealant material from one side in the width direction of the tire to the other, and the part where the sealant material begins to be attached is positioned on the sealant layer further inward in the width direction of the tire than the edge section in the width direction of the tire.
