Abstract:

On the tread surface, this pneumatic tire (1) has land portions (31-33) comprising ribs or multiple blocks. Further, on the ground contact surface, the land portions (31-33) are provided with multiple fine, shallow grooves (7) and multiple recesses (8). Further, defining the center region (CR) as the center 50 [%] region in the tire width direction of the continuous ground contact surface in the land portions (31-33) and defining the end regions as the end 25 [%] regions on the left and right in the tire width direction, in one continuous ground contact surface, the opening surface area ratio Sc of the recesses (8) in the center region (CR) in the tire width direction and the opening surface ratio Se of the recesses (8) in the end regions in the tire width direction have the relation Se < Sc.
