Abstract:
Lug-groove (16) side walls from the tread surface (12A) to positions at ½ of the groove depth are regarded as first depression-side inclined portions (16Fa), and groove side walls from the positions at ½ of the groove depth to the groove bottoms are regarded as second depression-side inclined portions (16Fb). When A1 represents the area of a region viewed in a cross section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the lug grooves (16), said region being surrounded by the first depression-side inclined portions (16Fa), a virtual line (FL3) which passes through tread-surface-side ends of the first depression-side inclined portions (16Fa), and which is orthogonal to the tread surface (12A), and a virtual line (FL5) which passes through groove-bottom-side ends of the first depression-side inclined portions (16Fa), and which is orthogonal to virtual line (FL3), and B1 represents the area of a region viewed in the aforementioned cross section, said region being surrounded by the second depression-side inclined portions (16Fb), a virtual line (FL4) which passes through tread-surface (12A) side ends of the second depression-side inclined portions (16Fb), and which is orthogonal to the tread surface (12A), and a virtual line (FL6) which passes through the deepest portions of the lug grooves (16), and which is parallel to the tread surface (12A), the areas are set such that A1 < B1.
