Abstract:
The pneumatic tire is provided with: a tread section where grooves are disposed in a predetermined design pattern; sidewall sections having surfaces by which the maximum width positions of the tire are defined; and serration sections having multiple ridges arranged on the surfaces of the sidewall sections at intervals in the tire circumferential direction. The serration section includes: a first ridge group which comprises multiple first ridges arranged next to each other in the tire circumferential direction, and each having an end part the distance of which from the rotation axis gradually changes; and a second ridge group which comprises multiple second ridges arranged next to each other in the tire circumferential direction, and each having an end part the distance of which from the rotation axis gradually changes.
