Abstract:
The present invention improves wear resistance performance while maintaining braking performance on wet road surfaces. This pneumatic tire (1) comprises four main grooves (22) extending along the tire circumferential direction on the tread surface (21) of a tread section (2). The following are formed by each of the main grooves (22): a center ridge section (23A); middle ridge sections (23B) adjacent to the center ridge section (23A) on both sides thereof in the tire width direction; and shoulder ridge sections (23C) adjacent to each of the middle ridge sections (23B) on the outer side in the tire width direction. Each of the grooves (22) has a constant groove width in the tire circumferential direction and is formed in a wave shape having a periodic amplitude.
