Abstract:
The present invention has prescribed therein: a first virtual line passing through the contact surface in a meridian cross-section of a tread section; a second virtual line passing through the base of a shoulder main groove and being parallel to the first virtual line; an intersection between the second virtual line and the surface of a shoulder land section further on the outside in the tire width direction than the ground-contact end; and a tire equatorial plane. When the distance between the intersection and the tire equatorial plane in the tire width direction is A, the groove depth of the shoulder main groove is B, and the distance between the ground-contact end and the tire equatorial plane in the tire width direction is C, the condition 0.80 ≤ (B + C)/A ≤ 1.15 is fulfilled. When the distance between the tire equatorial plane in the tire width direction and the end of a belt ply having the longest dimension in the tire width direction is S, the condition 0.75 ≤ S/A ≤ 0.95 is fulfilled.
