Abstract:
Defined are: a first imaginary line that passes through a ground-contacting surface in a meridional cross section of a tread part; a second imaginary line that passes through the bottom part of a shoulder main groove and is parallel to the first imaginary line; an intersection point between the second imaginary line and a surface of a shoulder land part located outside a ground-contacting end in the tire width direction; and a tire equatorial plane. When A is the distance between the tire equatorial plane and the intersection point in the tire width direction, B is the depth of the shoulder main groove, and C is the distance between the tire equatorial plane and the ground-contacting end in the tire width direction, the condition 0.80 ≤ (B+C)/A ≤ 1.15 is satisfied. When Q is the distance between the tire equatorial plane and an end of a belt ply, of two belt plies forming a cross-ply belt layer, that has a shorter dimension in the tire width direction, the condition 0.75 ≤ Q/C ≤ 0.95 is satisfied.
