Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire which is provided with partial tie rubber layers which are selectively disposed on interlayer portions between a carcass layer and an inner liner layer, wherein the tire can have further reduced weight while maintaining air permeation resistance and steering stability, and the tire enables these aspects of performance to be compatibly achieved with good balance. Respective partial tie rubber layers 10 are positioned between a carcass layer 4 and an inner liner layer 9, and selectively disposed in both side regions of a tread part 1 in the tire width direction except a central region of the tread part 1. The penetrating amounts L1 of the partial tire rubber layers 10 into a tire equator CL side with respect to vertical lines P extending from the outermost end portion in the tire width direction of a belt layer 7 toward the inner liner layer 9 are set to 0-15 mm, and the protruding amounts L2 of the partial tie rubber layers 10 toward the sides of bead parts 3 with respect to the vertical lines P are set to 15-120 mm.
