Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire that is configured to inhibit edge separation at the belt layer. The present invention is characterized in that: the tire has a belt layer 8 and a carcass layer 4; a belt rubber composition constituting the belt layer 8 is obtained by blending 0.3-1.5 parts by mass of cobalt borate neodecanoate and 4.5-7.0 parts by mass of sulfur with respect to 100 parts by mass of a diene rubber including natural rubber; the belt rubber composition has a dynamic storage elastic modulus (E') of 13-18 MPa at 20°C; and the ratio (MB/MC) between the tensile stress at 100% (MB) of the belt rubber composition and the tensile stress at 100% (MC) of the carcass rubber composition constituting the carcass layer 4 is 1.5-2.5.
