Abstract:
The present invention provides a pneumatic tire that enables achieving both improvement in maneuvering stability on a dry road surface and improvement in maneuvering stability on a wet road surface by devising a chamfer shape for a sipe. A rib 10 has: a lug groove 11, one end of which opens into one of main grooves 9, while the other end of which terminates in the rib 10; a first sipe 12, one end of which opens into the main groove 9 into which the lug groove 11 opens, while the other end of which opens into the lug groove 11; and a second sipe 13, one end of which opens into a main groove 9 situated on the side opposite to the main groove 9 into which the lug groove 11 opens, while the other end of which opens into the lug groove 11, wherein the first sipe 12 and the second sipe 13 each have a chamfered part 14 either at a tread-in-side edge 12A, 13A or a kick-out-side edge 12B, 13B.
