Abstract:
This pneumatic tire comprises a resin-coated belt that comprises wire that has been coated with a coating resin. A base ring that contacts a tire-width-direction outside end of the resin-coated belt is provided on the tire-radial-direction inside of the resin-coated belt. A tire-width-direction outside end of the base ring is positioned further to the tire-width-direction outside than the tire-width-direction outside end of the resin-coated belt. The pneumatic tire also comprises an auxiliary belt that: covers the tire-radial-direction outside of the base ring in a tire-width-direction region that is from the tire-width-direction outside end of the resin-coated belt to at least a portion of the tire-width-direction outside; and covers the tire-radial-direction outside of the resin-coated belt in a tire-width-direction region that is from the tire-width-direction outside end of the resin-coated belt to at least a portion of the tire-width-direction inside.
