Abstract:
In order to reinforce sidewall parts by means of a reinforcing member while suppressing the loss of the reinforcing member, this pneumatic tire 1 is provided with: side wall parts 5 located on both sides in the tire width direction; bead sections 20 located inside the side wall parts 5 in the tire radial direction; a plurality of protectors 30 which are provided protruding from the surface of at least one of the side wall parts 5 so as to protrude outward in the tire circumferential direction from radial inner end portions 25 of the bead sections 20 to a height within a range of 30% to 70% of the tire cross-sectional height, and which extend in the tire circumferential direction; and a plurality of spiral-shaped reinforcing members 40 which are formed in spiral shapes and installed inside the protectors 30 with an orientation such that the center axes CS of the spiral shapes extend in the tire circumferential direction.
