Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire configured so that the electrical resistance of the entire tire can be reduced even if the rolling resistance is further reduced by further reducing the loss of a case member for the tire. This pneumatic tire is provided with: tread rubber 13G which uses as a framework a carcass 1 comprising at least one carcass ply and which is disposed outside the crown section of the tread rubber in a tire radial direction; an electrically conductive rubber section 5 provided extending through the tread rubber from the ground contact region of a tire surface toward the inside in the tire radial direction; and rubber chafers 3 disposed on the outer surfaces of bead sections in a tire width direction. An electrically conductive member 6 electrically connecting from the inner end of the electrically conductive rubber section in the tire radial direction to the rubber chafers is provided in the pneumatic tire. At least the portion of the electrically conductive rubber section, which is located near the inner end thereof in the tire radial direction, and the portions of the electrically conductive member, which are located near the rubber chafers, comprise electrically conductive fibers 7, and the volume resistivity of the electrically conductive member is 1 × 108 Ω∙cm or lower.
