Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire wherein the electrical resistance of the entire tire can be reduced even if the rolling resistance is further reduced by further reducing the loss of a case member for the tire. This pneumatic tire is provided with: a pair of bead sections 11; a pair of sidewall sections 12; and a tread section 13 extending so as to straddle the pair of sidewall sections. Side rubber 12G is disposed on the outer surfaces, in the tire width direction, of the sidewall sections while a carcass 1 comprising at least one carcass ply is used as a framework, the carcass 1 straddling the pair of bead sections and extending toroidally. Rubber chafers 3 are arranged on the outer surfaces, in the tire width direction, of the bead sections. The side rubber and the rubber chafers have joint sections extending in the tire radial direction. First electrically conductive members 6A having a volume resistivity of 1 × 108 Ω∙cm or lower are arranged in at least portions of the joint sections of the side rubber and/or the rubber chafers.
