Abstract:
This pneumatic tire has a land section provided with a width-direction sipe which extends in the tread-width direction. The width-direction sipe has, in a cross-section taken in the depth direction thereof: a straight section extending from the opening section of the width-direction sipe toward the bottom section of the width-direction sipe; and a bent section connected to the straight section and bending and extending to the bottom section of the width-direction sipe from the portion where the bent section and the straight section are connected. The straight section of the width-direction sipe is formed so that the length of the straight section in the depth direction of the width-direction sipe increases from the center section, in the tread width direction, of the width-direction sipe toward an end section in the tread-width direction.
