Abstract:
This pneumatic tire is provided, on the surface of a sidewall section thereof, with: a ridge pattern region having a plurality of ridges that extend continuously in one direction and are spaced apart from one another; a smooth surface region constituted by a smooth surface; and a two-dimensional code in a rectangular shape having a dot pattern formed by two types of light and dark elements formed so as to be distinguished from each other on the basis of surface unevenness. The two-dimensional code is provided in the smooth surface region. A shortest distance Lmin from the two-dimensional code to the ridge pattern region is 3 to 25% of a length W of one side of the two-dimensional code, the shortest distance Lmin being the shortest distance Lmin at a position among the four sides of the rectangular shape of the two-dimensional code where the distance from the two-dimensional code to the ridge pattern region is smallest, and the one side of the two-dimensional code including the position where the distance is the shortest distance Lmin.
