Abstract:
A protruding pedestal having a planar protrusion-end surface is provided on a surface of a sidewall portion of a pneumatic tire so as to protrude along the sidewall surface. A two-dimensional code is provided on the planar surface of the protruding pedestal. A direction normal to the planar surface, in a state in which the pneumatic tire has not been mounted on a rim or inflated with air, is inclined toward the rotation axis of the pneumatic tire at an angle between 10-45 degrees relative to the tire width-direction of the pneumatic tire.
