Abstract:
A pneumatic tire according to the present invention is provided with: a pair of bead cores; a carcass which is formed so as to extend across the pair of bead cores; a belt layer which is arranged on the outside of the carcass in the tire radial direction, and which is formed by covering a cord that is wound in the tire circumferential direction with a thermoplastic resin that has an elastic modulus of from 100 MPa to 10,000 MPa (inclusive); and a tread which is arranged on the outside of the belt layer in the tire radial direction. This pneumatic tire is configured such that the thickness thereof in the tire equatorial plane is 5 mm or less.
