Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire in which a reduction in uniformity due to markings composed of protrusions protruding from the outer surface of a side wall part, and vibrations during travel can be suppressed. N number of markings 10 composed of a series of protrusions 11, which protrude at least 0.8 mm from the outer surfaces of respective side wall parts 2 of the pneumatic tire and depict characters, shapes, or symbols, are provided in regions further outward in the tire radial direction than the tire maximum width position of the outer surface of the respective side wall parts 2. The angle θ around the tire axis from one end to the other end of each of the markings 10 in the tire circumferential direction is 30-150º inclusive, the markings 10 are arranged at intervals of (360º/N)±20º on each of the side wall parts 2, the markings 10 are arranged so that the positions of the markings 10 on one side wall part 2 do not align with the positions of the markings 10 on the other side wall part 2, and the misalignment angle around the tire axis between the markings on one side wall part 2 and the markings on the other wall part 2 is within the range of (180º/N)±20º.
