Abstract:
This pneumatic tire tread pattern comprises a pair of circumferential grooves, and a plurality of siped lug grooves that extend in the tire width direction between the circumferential grooves and are disposed with space therebetween in the tire circumference direction. The siped lug grooves each have a lug groove that extends to a closed end from a first circumferential groove among the aforementioned circumferential grooves, and a sipe that extends from the closed end of the lug groove toward the second circumferential groove and connects to the second circumferential groove. The plurality of siped lug grooves are characterized by comprising: at least one first siped lug groove that extends in a curve such that the extension direction of the lug groove differs from the extension direction of the sipe; and at least one second siped lug groove that extends in a straight line such that the extension direction of the lug groove matches the extension direction of the sipe.
