Abstract:
To prevent stone biting without requiring a complex shape. A tread surface 21 of a tread section has a circumferential-direction main groove 22A extending in the tire circumferential direction, and when the circumferential-direction main groove 22A is divided into a tire-radial-direction outer side and a tire-radial-direction inner side by drawing a virtual dividing line L1 at a position (D/2) that is half the depth of the groove, the virtual dividing line L1 being parallel to a straight line that connects groove opening edges 22Ab at a meridional cross section, the cross-sectional area SU on the tire-radial-direction outer side and the cross-sectional area SD on the tire-radial-direction inner side satisfy the relationship 0.15 ≤ SD/SU ≤ 0.60.
