Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic tire that enables, even if a sound absorbing material is provided to the inner surface of the tire, a puncture to be repaired without the flow of a puncture repairing liquid being impeded by the sound absorbing material and by a fixation means therefor. Along with a sound absorbing material 10 provided to the inner surface of a tread portion 1 with a sheet material 12 interposed therebetween, the following components are provided. That is: at least a pair of first fixation regions A1 at which the sheet material is fixed to one of the inner surface of the tire or the sound absorbing material 10, are provided to portions in the tire width direction of the sheet material; a non-fixation region B at which the sheet material is not fixed to the one of the inner surface of the tire or the sound absorbing material 10, is provided between the pair of first fixation regions A1; a second fixation region A2 at which the sheet material is fixed to the other of the inner surface of the tire or the sound absorbing material 10, is provided to at least a portion of the non-fixation region B; and a repairing liquid introduction part 13 which allows communication between a tire inner cavity C and a closed space D separated, in a meridian cross section, from the tire inner cavity C by the inner surface of the tire or the sound absorbing material 10 and the non-fixation region B of the sheet material, is provided to the sheet material.
