Abstract:
This pneumatic tire has a tread configured from a rubber composition containing 30-120 parts by mass of silica, which has a BET specific surface area of 180-280 m2/g, per 100 parts by mass of a rubber component, wherein the negative rate in the contact width of the tread is 20-40%. It is thereby possible to provide a pneumatic tire having improved wear resistance and wet grip performance, and having a high degree of balance with a satisfactorily low rate of fuel consumption.
